Shloka 11
“ARJUNA, you show your grief and compassion for those who do not deserve your grief, compassion or sympathy. Although your words are filled with wisdom, you must remember, the wise men never grieve for the living or the dead.”
श्रीभगवान् बोले — हे अर्जुन ! तू न शोक करने योग्य मनुष्यों के लिये शोक करता है और पण्डितो के से वचनों को कहता है ; परंतु जिनके प्राण चले गये हैं, उनके लिए और जिनके प्राण नहीं चले गये हैं, उनके लिये भी पण्डितजन शोक नहीं करते ।। ११ ।।
