The Lord spoke solemnly:
O Arjuna, you must understand that I have created all beings in these two aspects of my nature. Arjuna, Know Me as both the creator and the destroyer of the world.
हे अर्जुन ! तू ऐसा समझ कि सम्पूर्ण भूत इन दोनों प्रकृतियों से ही उत्पन्न होने वाले हैं और मैं सम्पूर्ण जगत् का प्रभव तथा प्रलय हूँ अर्थात् सम्पूर्ण जगत् का मूल कारण हूँ ।। ६ ।।
